About SandFall
SandFall is a falling-sand simulation you can play with. Pick a material, draw on the canvas and watch it behave: sand piles up, water spreads, oil flows and fire eats through anything that burns.
How to play SandFall
- Choose a material from the toolbar: Sand, Water, Fire, Wood, Oil, Stone or the Eraser.
- Draw on the canvas with the mouse or a finger. Your first stroke starts the 60-second timer.
- Sand falls and piles into slopes, and sinks through water. Water and oil flow sideways to fill gaps. Wood and stone stay where you draw them.
- Fire rises and spreads to wood and oil next to it. Water touching fire puts it out and turns to smoke.
- Each cell of wood or oil that catches fire adds to your Burned score. Clear empties the canvas.

Tips for a higher score
- Oil burns three times as fast as wood scores — pour a pool of oil and light one edge.
- Build containers from stone before pouring oil so it doesn't spread across the floor.
- Keep water away from your fuel: it extinguishes the fire as soon as they touch.
- Stack wood in thin columns with gaps; fire spreads upward and sideways cell by cell.
