About PulseGrid
PulseGrid is a neon rhythm tapper. A grid of 24 squares pulses at 128 beats per minute, one square glows at a time, and your timing decides whether the score multiplier climbs or falls.
How to play PulseGrid
- Press Start (or tap any square) to begin the 60-second round.
- One square lights up in colour. Tap it to score; the next square lights up immediately.
- The beat bar above the grid fills up after each hit. Tap the new square when the bar is nearly full — that's on the beat.
- An on-beat tap scores more and raises your streak; an early tap scores less and lowers it by one.
- Tapping the wrong square resets the streak to ×1. When the timer hits zero, your final score is shown.

Tips for a higher score
- The beat lasts just under half a second. Waiting for the bar to fill feels slow at first, but at ×10 each on-beat tap is worth 300 points.
- Rushing is the most common mistake: an early tap both scores less and lowers your multiplier.
- Find the next square while the bar is filling, then tap exactly as it completes.
- Sound helps: every beat and hit plays a short tone.
