About NeonTyper
NeonTyper is a typing shooter. Short neon words — pixel, glitch, nova, matrix — fly in from the right edge. Type a word and it explodes; your score and words-per-minute update as you go.
How to play NeonTyper
- Click the game area or the input line under it, then start typing. The 60-second timer starts with your first word.
- Type any word on screen. Letters you've typed light up, so you can see which word you're on.
- When a word is complete it is destroyed automatically — no Enter key needed.
- Press Esc to clear what you've typed and start a word again.
- Words that reach the left edge simply disappear. When the timer ends you see your score and WPM.

Tips for a higher score
- Letting a word cross the middle of the screen doubles its bonus — but only if you can still finish it before the edge.
- Long words like phantom and zenith carry more letter points than short ones.
- New words arrive faster as the minute goes on; clear the ones nearest the edge first.
- If you make a typo, press Esc instead of backspacing letter by letter.
