PulseGrid is a neon rhythm tapper built around a 6×4 grid of 24 squares. The whole grid pulses at 128 beats per minute, one square glows at a time, and your job is simple: tap the lit square. The moment you hit it, the next one lights up somewhere else on the grid.

The trick is timing. A beat bar above the grid fills after every hit, and the best moment to tap is exactly when it completes. An on-beat tap scores more and pushes your multiplier up by one, all the way to ×10. Tap too early and you score less and your streak slips back a step; hit the wrong square and it resets to ×1.

At ×10 a single on-beat tap is worth 300 points, so a calm, steady rhythm always beats frantic tapping. Every beat and hit plays a short tone, rounds last exactly 60 seconds, and your best score stays saved in your browser for the next session.

How to play

  • Press Start or tap any square to begin the 60-second round.
  • Tap the glowing square — the next one lights up straight away.
  • Wait for the beat bar to fill and tap right as it completes.
  • Never tap the wrong square: it drops your streak to ×1.

Wait for the beat

Waiting for the bar to fill feels slow at first, but rushing is the most common mistake — an early tap scores less and lowers your multiplier.

Look ahead

Find the next square while the bar is filling, then tap exactly as it completes. At ×10 each on-beat tap is worth 300 points.
